CRAFT 4.0 THIRD MEETING (REMOTE)

screenshot of the Craft 4.0 Zoom call

Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, Craft 4.0 partners held on May 7 2020 their third "international meeting" remotely via Zoom, instead of in Barcelona as scheduled. The consortium discussed the project management, the communication strategies, the quality plan and the progress through the intellectual outputs such as the IO2, in particular. The outline plan for IO2 and the Learning Platform Design workshop (3 days’ workshop) results were presented: this included 10 participants and resulted in development of detailed visual mock- ups of the platform.

Linked to lockdown measures, most partners are experiencing some issues: access to technology, such as 3D printers and laser cutters as well as microphones and cameras, required to produce learning material may result in delays; workload which has increased due to contingency planning less available staff etc; engagement from the sector has been difficult and this will also affect multiplier events and dissemination.

The meeting closed with changes to the timeline and actions set with deadlines.
